Vice President

• To support and assist the President in the administrative needs of VPYB and to serve as Chief Executive Officer in the absence of the President.
• To actively solicit sponsorship for VPYB teams.
• To actively solicit VPYB Boosters donations.
• Organize All-Star weekend with assistance from the Board of Directors. (planning, agenda, etc.)

 Treasurer

• To provide the Board of Directors with a workable budget, profit and loss statements and accounting funds.
• To maintain accurate records for tax purposes and file tax forms.
• Payment of umpires and VPYB purchases, etc. as approved by the Board
• Maintain proper insurance coverage for all player, managers, coaches, umpires, and auxiliary personnel.

 Umpire Director  

• Coordinate scheduling of umpires for games and submitting payment request to Treasurer.
• Train and Supervise umpires with respect to VPYB standards, rules, and regulations.
• Grade umpires with respect to age, ability, and level at which they will participate.
• Obtain feedback from Managers, Board Members, etc. in order to continually upgrade VPYB umpiring.

 Fundraising Chairman

• Will be responsible for scheduling and communicating all VPYB fundraising events including but not limited to: Candy Sales, Raffle, All-Star weekend and Concessions as approved by the VPYB Board of Directors.

• Organize Picture Day and Team/Sponsor plaques.

 Publicity Chairman

• Will be responsible for all print and media. (Schools, Newspapers, TV, Radio, Social Media and Website)
• Oversees and works with website content manager and social media manager and fills in when there is a vacancy.
• Maintain homepage of www.VPYB.com
• Collects, posts and distributes important information on league activities to league, parents, public and media-including monthly newsletter.

 Minor and Softball Commissioners

• Hold a meeting to discuss and explain all rules associated with their particular division.
• Organize the tierring and draft for their division.
• Do their best to ensure a fair and competitive division.
• Commissioners will maintain complete, current and accurate win, loss and pitching records.
• Commissioners will re-schedule all rain outs; suspend games, etc. in accordance with VPYB rules-no exceptions.
• Commissioners will maintain and distribute appropriate substitution pools for their division.
• Commissioners will obtain necessary documentation and testimony for protested games.
• Commissioners will maintain complete and accurate ratings on all VPYB players.
• Ensures that scores are updated in a timely manner.
