INSTRUCTIONAL T-BALL DIVISION

Designed for 3–4-year-old boys and girls as a first introduction to baseball or softball.

The Instructional T-Ball program is an eight-week season designed for young children to start their journey with baseball or softball. They’ll learn the proper techniques for hitting off a tee, throwing, catching, fielding, and running the bases in a fun, non-competitive environment. Our program supports physical development, motor skills, focus, following instructions and most importantly, having fun while learning the game. This is a great social introduction to a team environment with coaches and provides your child the foundation for future success at the next level of Villa Park baseball and softball programs. Season will start at the end of April and conclude the end of June. There will be one practice/session per week.

Not Your Typical Park District League
We here at Villa Park Baseball will focus on your child's development for baseball/softball during Instructional T-Ball. We are NOT a park district t-ball division! We will have volunteer coaches that will teach your child the game. You as a parent, will not be required to participate in helping your child play during the sessions. You will be able to relax and watch your child learn the game and listen to directions from a volunteer coach, instead of just your own voice. If you want to help on the team, please mention that when you sign up, but you will not be required to do so. However, we do want to make sure there are enough volunteers for each team, so you may be asked to help coach a team if there are not enough volunteers. Each team will have a specific number of kids, 13 players max per team. We will not have one large group with only one director like park districts in the area have. Your child will be on an actual team, learning the game. Most importantly, your child will have a ton of fun. We hope to see you out there!
